German Motor Werks of Asheville, Inc. is a full service repair facility for your Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz or Mini Cooper. Owner Scott Spence began his career with German automotive repair at a very young age, even gracing the cover of Bruce Anderson's 1987 book "Porsche 911 Performance Handbook". Incorporating in 1993 Scott and his wife Liz moved their business to Asheville North Carolina opening the doors to this new facility February 2007. Scott Spence is accompanied by three excellent mechanics, Brian Ownby who is a master BMW tech, Kyle Conwell who is a Mini Cooper specialist and Elliot Kouns who comes to us from the Porsche race world.
